ONE – DAY TOURS:
FULL PAYMENT
is required for at least one person in your party within 14
days of your reservation. The balance for the remaining passenger(s) will
be due 40 (forty) days prior to departure.
(If you have a larger group traveling, our tour consultants can advise you as to
when the payment is needed) However, when there are concert or show tickets involved payment in full is
required at the time of sign up.
MULTI - DAY TOURS:
The deposit required is listed
on our flyer and is due within two weeks of your reservation. The balance is due
no later than the date listed on our tour flyer. No billing will be
made, so please mark your calendars so that your payment is received on time.
Lodestar accepts payment on tours in the form of cash, personal
checks or credit cards. Our prices are based on cash or checks, if you wish to
use your credit card, there will be a 3.5% service fee added to your tour
price. This service charge for credit cards does not apply to Cruise packages
with the cruise line charge. Any additional features on a cruise/tour the
service fee may apply.
Please note that you risk the
chance of your reservation being cancelled if your payment is not received on
time.
AIR OR CRUISE PACKAGES:
Varies by package and cruise line cancellation policy. Ask for details when reserving your trip.
ONE-DAY TOURS:
A charge of 50% of the payment plus any non-refundable charges
(i.e. theater tickets, meals, service fees)
if reservations are cancelled 31 days prior to tour. Less
than 31 days prior to departure, there is no refund. IF A REPLACEMENT IS FOUND, a full
refund will be given.
MULTI-DAY TOURS:
*31 days prior to departure
Full refund less any non-refundable charges

*Less than 31 days prior to departure

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AND IS STRONGLY
RECOMMENDED

for protection in case you need to cancel
in the event of a
sudden emergency before or during your
trip.*
*Please note that if the insurance is
purchased within 7 days of initial trip payment,
the
Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion will be
waived.
You must be medically able to travel when
you pay your premium.
Departure
Information
Multi Day
Tours: You
will receive your departure information package, which includes itinerary, baggage tag(s), and hotel information approximately fourteen (14) days prior to
departure. In case of late bookings, departure information will be sent once
final payment has been received.
One Day Tours:
A receipt will
be given to you at the time you make payment for your tour with the departure
time and seat assignment. No other information will be given.
Upon arrival at the Lodestar Garage, the day of your trip,
please bring your receipt with you and check in with the hostess on the bus to
reconfirm your seating.
Note:
Lodestar
Tours does not mail tickets for attractions, shows, etc. included on our tours.
The tour director will have them in his/her possession.
Cruise Tours:
You will be
contacted by mail in regard to the Pre-Tour dinner, please r.s.v.p. by the date
needed to confirm that you can or cannot make the dinner. At the pre-tour you
will be given your documents for travel. Please also note that proof of
citizenship is required for all cruises. A VALID PASSPORT IS REQUIRED;
please speak to a tour consultant regarding this.
Responsiblity
Lodestar Tours acts
only as an agent in arranging transportation, accommodations, or any optional
sightseeing tours, cruises, etc., and as such is not responsible for any
damages, loss, delay, injury, or accident due to weather, or any act of default
of any company or person engaged in providing service included in our tours. We
reserve the right to cancel any tour or make changes in any itinerary as we deem
necessary. Lodestar Tours is not responsible to any person for expense, loss of
time or money or other circumstance resulting from a change in itinerary or
change of tour arrangements. Any person may be dismissed from any tour at any
time by the Tour Director or Driver in charge should his or her conduct not be
in harmony with the rest of the passengers; no further obligation will be
assumed by Lodestar Tours or anyone in their employ.

Q.
WHAT CLOTHING/FOOD SHOULD I BRING ON TOUR?
A.
Casual, comfortable clothing and walking shoes are suggested for daytime
travel. Passengers may want to bring sweaters, jackets or light blankets on
the coach due to air-conditioning. For any health or special diets,
please bring any necessary food that is required.
Q.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE AT LODESTAR FOR MY PICK-UP?
A.
Lodestar recommends that you arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes, but no
more than thirty (30) minutes prior to the departure time.
Q.
IS THERE ASSIGNED SEATING ON THE COACH?
A.
All seats are reserved at the time that you book your tour. The earlier you
book your tour, the better chance you will have to get the seat of your
choice.
Q.
WHAT IF I NEED TWO BEDS IN MY ROOM AND CAN I REQUEST A SMOKING ROOM?
A.
If you must have two double beds, please request that at the time of
booking. Also we request all of our rooms to be non-smoking, so if you
prefer smoking, please let us know. Lodestar Tours cannot guarantee two
double beds at every hotel, but certainly we will do our best to accommodate
all passengers with their requests.

IS THE DRIVER’S GRATUITY INCLUDED?
A. Yes,
we include the driver gratuity on all of Lodestar & Priority Care tours.
Q.
WHAT IS
YOUR SMOKING POLICY ON YOUR MOTOR COACHES?
A. For the
comfort of all passengers, smoking is not permitted. Rest stops will be made frequently (every
2-3 hours) to accommodate those who wish to smoke and to allow a comfort stop
for all of our passengers.
